1. Download the plugin.
2. Unzip the file “wp-icontact.zip” and upload the folder to the “/wp-content/plugins/” directory.
3. Activate the plugin from “Plugins” menu in Wordpress Admin.
4. Go to “Wp iContact > Settings” from WP menu to customize the default settings.
5. Now put the Application Id, Password and Username from www.icontact.com*
6. Now set the Popup or Widget area to show the plugin.

Step1: Go to the site www.icontact.com and login/signup. Then go to websites menu and click on Contacts > My Lists > Create a List. You can create one or multiple List. But in the plugin settings you can select one list and email will subscribe under this List.

Step2: Hit the link http://www.icontact.com/developerportal/documentation/register-your-app. (You must be logged in) Now choose your environment: for example go to Production and Visit: https://app.icontact.com/icp/core/registerapp/. You will get API-AppId and create a password.

Step3: Now put AppId, Api Password and login username on your plugin settings.

You can design the custom popup according to your website template using html editor.  There are some sample popup designs available on Plugin folder named “sample-template”.

Just copy the code and paste in Wp iContact > Popup Settings > Popup Text: editor.
